Due to the threat of Hurricane Irne, those who were planning on going to the
Flags Over Hatteras Sesquicentennial Event and Conference will have to wait a bit longer. It was recently posted on their website that the conference, monument dedication, ole time auction, and living history demonstrations will be postponed due to the inclement weather.
